Radio Active Dawn is a childhood dream come true. As an elementary school-aged student living in San Diego, DL Mullan hosted her own pretend show with music, a microphone, and giving out her parents' home phone number. 

Needless to say, the birthday battery-operated microphone disappeared after that. 

 

Decades later... Ms. Mullan has her own record label, original electronic music, websites, and video/social media channels, there is no more need for a phone. 

Just add the creative spirit.

DL Mullan has been a musical wonder and performer for decades.

The creative spirit inspired Undawnterpe's DL Mullan to combine her love of literary, performing, visual, and media arts into its own variant expression. With a consummate background in music (competitive orchestra, band, concert choir, musical theater, and solo talent performances), Ms. Mullan produces cinematic and hauntingly expressive songs that pair well with her stories (on Undawnted). As an award-winning poet, the lyrics she creates immerses the reader in the emotions, characters, and motifs of each individual book. DL Mullan also writes a syndicated column about technology and the creative industry, Undawntech.

With her classical training, as well as her grandfather's jazz pianist genes, both musical legacies will be reflected in her pieces.
